This series of interviews documents the pattern of brutality in jails operated by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office under Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The interviewee, Michael Manning, has successfully sued the MCSO for $22 million for wrongful deaths of inmates. Shockingly, often guards responsible for deaths of inmates were not only not held accountable, but promoted!
