Part 3, Step 4 towards a National Debt Solution: Reaching Republicans.
We have to figure out how to interest Republicans in the only national debt solution = the only immigration solution, which too many Republicans (although not a majority) passionately resist now because they are willfully ignorant of the economic benefits of immigration.
(If you are offended by my criticism of your political party, then whether you are a Republican or Democrat, I hope you will at least credit me with equal severity towards both. I am a Republican, except where that conflicts with being a Christian. Both parties, along with myself, fall short of God’s standards which are meant for our own safety and prosperity.)
The main obstacle to saving America at this point will be Republicans, not Democrats. Democrats are the main obstacle to controlling our runaway debt in general, and they are primarily responsible for the murders of over 40 million taxpayers who would otherwise have been bailing us out by now. But if the Republican House repeals Numerical Limitations on work visas, Democrats will be under pressure to approve it, with “President Obama and leaders in Congress… vowing to pass immigration reform in 2013”.
Not that Democrat support can be taken for granted. Obama has deported more immigrants than any previous president. Raoul Lowery-Contreras told Channel 7 in San Diego that the DACA program is a trap: “This administration has deported more Mexicans than any administration in history and now they’re asking young kids, basically, to [report to ICE] with your name, address and phone number.” The DACA deferment is only promised for two years, and even that promise has no force of law; Obama can cancel it at any time. Certainly nothing requires Obama to extend the program beyond two years, which will be enough time for ICE to get everyone’s name, address, and phone records. The last time Obama promised to defer deportations, only 2% were deferred, and deportations set a record. Bob Quasius of Cafe Con Leche Republicans gives details of some of the political games Obama, and Democrats in general, play with immigrants.
Nevertheless, Democrats have publicly expressed such support for immigration reform, that it will be difficult for them to openly oppose a repeal of Numerical Limitations if Republicans pass it in the House.
So our principal and initial obstacle is House Republicans. We have to pressure them to welcome the one segment of human beings which they mistrust even more than Democrats.
To do that, we have to begin a national discussion of the evidence that this solution will save America from our debt, and is the only thing that can.
Oh, and did I mention? We have to do this in less than 6 weeks.
You tell me how this is possible! It is not humanly possible! And yet it looks like we have a deadline racing towards us. A deadline created by the conjunction of the judgments of God for murdering babies and not “taking in” “strangers”, and the one lever Republicans can pull that will end the spiraling of our debt.
So let me assume, for argument’s sake, that we agree the only solution for saving America is to pressure Republicans as a Congressional majority to repent from their wicked ways and welcome 40 million of the one group of people they loathe even more then Democrats, as a result of a national discussion of the economic benefits of massive new immigration, and do it in only 6 weeks. What then? Is that all we have to change?
I wish!
That would make it so much easier!
What is the obstacle to applying this pressure in six weeks?
A congressman can’t reverse his positions on a dime, unless a huge movement of voters in his district do too. 1 Samuel 8, and God’s struggle to get His people into the Promised Land, explains that it is not even God’s Will for any political leader to give his constituents more freedom or blessing than they are willing to tolerate. It is not God’s nature to drag people into Heaven, or, on Earth, into much better conditions than they want.
This is a spiritual obstacle, in addition to the more familiar obstacle that a number of politicians are moral cowards who will never lead their people to higher moral ground and will not even follow voters there, except reluctantly.
So our job is to reach tens of millions of Republicans, whose resistance to God’s solution is as principled as it is poorly informed. They have been fed bad information by Population Control abortionists like John Tanton whose resume proudly recounts his early years with abortion and population control before he got into immigration.
His personal website, linked at his resume, proudly affirms his zero population ideals. He calls himself “pro immigrant, but at sustainable levels.” In other words, zero. Or rather, minus 12 million. He founded or co-founded most immigration restrictionist organizations.

We need to educate them, relieve them of their ignorant prejudices about immigrants, engage them in a discussion about the economic benefits of massive new immigration, and motivate them to write to their Congressmen to express their support for saving America via the only solution that remains.
In six weeks.
So let me assume, for argument’s sake, that we agree the only solution left is to reach tens of millions of Republicans, relieve them of their ignorance about immigration’s benefits, and get them to pressure their congressmen to save America. What then? Is that all we have to change?
I wish!
It would be so easy if that were all we have to do! That would be almost comfortable, compared with this next step, which I dread mentioning, because this is where things start getting personal. This is where I have to trouble friends whom I know personally, whose resistance to these changes runs incredibly deep.

Robert, you have uncovered the ugly truth about me: I am power hungry! I am so covetous of my power to wash your atheist brain that I write even without your sanction! And thanks to you, the world now knows my sordid dark secret: I am a Christian. And not the quiet, politically correct, light-under-a-bushel, never-offend-anybody kind, but the kind who will happily abuse my right and power to post threads on the cafe con leche Republicans website, and anywhere else I can, to wash every atheist brain in the country if possible, without regard to whether it is popular, politically correct, or even legal, to WITNESS! Yes, that’s right, even if it were a crime to even mention the blessed name of Jesus Christ, and the penalty were torture, I would persist, shamelessly lawless to my last breath!
That is what it means to be a Christian, according to the Bible and the examples of martyrs, prophets, and Jesus: to live and act without regard for any law, by any authority, that punishes what any regime considers offensive, without regarding as a defense any evidence that it is true.
In the same spirit with all speech-suppressing tyrants of human history, you would ban me, if you have the power, not for anything you can identify in anything I have written that is untrue, but only for statements which, to you, are unwelcome. Because you are an atheist, and that is what atheists do. There is nothing in atheism that argues for any value to truth.
As for all those other sites you want me to run off to, will you promise to follow me there? Because so far, I have never yet experienced so faithful a comment-leaver after my articles as you! And you want me to voluntarily give up that fulfilling experience? You surely must know it is the dream of every Christian to get the attention of the most hopeless atheist he can find, and you have given me that blessing! I grant you the freedom not to even read my articles, yet like an iron filing to a magnet, like a moth to light, you are drawn despite all your resistance to Truth
Actually I probably shouldn’t flatter myself that you have read any of my articles. Your comments don’t indicate that you do any more than do a word search through Cafe Con Leche Republicans articles for “God” or “Jesus”, and go marching off for the kill when you find it. Otherwise I wouldn’t think you would complain of the lack of “secular content” in my articles, which there was plenty of in these. But perhaps in your atheist mind any mention of God cancels any secular evidence or reasoning.
But of all the words in my articles, you have read the two that are most important, and I praise God for that.
Should you decide at some point to read the rest of my articles beyond those two words, you will discover that my strategy goes even beyond reaching you, to shining light on all the darkness in America which has brought her to her economic knees. Unopposed atheism, courtesy of pastors pulling their bushels of noninvolvement theologies snugly over their churchlight, have created the vacuum of truth and intelligence that has allowed atheists to successfully attack and tear the fabric of America. We are at a historical turning point where if this continues, freedom of speech is only the first of our freedoms which we will lose.
Why would I want to write for any other blog, when it is this blog where I can talk with you? Where I can get a genuine atheist to read the word “God” every time I write it?

Robert, did you know that our nation, because it was built upon Christian principles and not atheist principles, (see “1620: When Freedom was Reborn”) grants you freedom of speech to start your own blog and to deprive me of the right to start threads on it? Why is it that atheists are cool with freedom of speech for themselves, and will endorse Christianity that far, just not for atheists?
It looks like, Dave, that you have entered a “DID YOU KNOW” phase of responding to my comments. So, Dave, did you know that a large number of immigrants to America, the Pilgrims, brought Calvanistic Protestantism to America – which thrived until Deism and Jeffersonian thought challanged this orientation??? AND, Dave, did you know that the FIRST Awakening with American Protestantism came about with the preaching of Charles Finney – who did away with a GREAT DEAL of then existing Calvinism – PARTICULARLY in the area of Salvation??? AND, Dave, did you know that Dwight Moody brought about the SECOND Awakening of American Protestantism – by continuing to focus on Non-Demoninational Calvinism, continuing the focus on individualistic salvation??? AND, Dave, did you know that near the end of the 19th Century and for the next 15 years, the THIRD Awakening within American Protestantism comes about in a Protest against the narrow focus of Finney and Moody – placing the Focus upon the social issues mentioned in the New Testiment, attempting to establish an “on earth as it is in heaven” – the Social Gospel movement orientation???? At the same time of this Third Awakening, Billy Sunday, wants to return to the Finney and Moody orientation – and USE Big Business as his way of preaching. AND, Dave, did you know that the FOURTH Awakening of American Protestantism is brought about by Billy Graham – who definately wants to do away with the Social Gospel movement – and return to the Finney and Moody orientation of placing focus on individual salvation and NOT a larger social orientation???
IF, Dave, YOU KNOW about these FOUR Awakenings within the American Protestant orientation – THEN you also SHOULD KNOW – that Finney spent a good deal of time denigrating Deism, Jeffersonian thought, Unitarianism, and Universalism. YOU, Dave, SHOULD also know that Moody denigrated these same issues. YOU, Dave, should also know that Billy Graham places great focus on individual salvation and condems any and all attempts of social actions to change things for the better.
Ever since the Enlightenment, Dave, Theism has been in a state of Retreat from Rational Thought, Science, Naturalism, and Social Responsibilities. Moody and Graham – BOTH – are Anti-Science when it comes to Darwinian thought – and Dave, in at least one previous thread on this site, you too, join the ranks of Moody and Graham in this area. And to think, Billy Graham even has a BA in Anthropology!!!!!
AND, Dave – despite the movements of Finney, Moody, and Grahm – there HAS been and contiues to be – a Liberal Protestant tradition – that embraces a High Biblical criticism, and Leberal orientations to issues of Sexuality, Sexual Orientation, Social Thought.
Additionally, Dave – NO Theist is EVER ABLE to grasp Atheism – because their Theism gets in the way of any and all understand. I would have thought that by now, Dave, with my many comments – that AT LEAST you would know THIS!!!

Taking a look at ALL of the CONFLICTS within a Christian Tradition – one may CLEARLY see – that Freedom of Speach is NOT part of this tradition.
Surely, Dave, you’ve heard about the Protestant Reformation – heard of the Counter Reformation – heard of the DISPUTES between Calvinism and Arminianism !!!! Surely!!!!
And in the American experience, Dave – I’m sure that you MUST be aware of the Great Number of Censorship movements – Lead by Christians – to censor the speach and thought of American Citizens!!!! Surely!!! BANNED in BOSTON” is but one example. The Movie Production code, another.
